For me, the happiest place on Earth isnโ€™t Disney World, itโ€™s Club Med. Specifically, Club Med in the โ€˜80s. When I was a kid, we went to the Club Meds in Eleuthera, Bahamas (twice), as well as Cancun and Huatulco, Mexico. Thereโ€™s a utopian magic about the Club Med experience thatโ€™s equal parts glittering ocean, coconut-scented sex, and gently swaying palm trees. Add copious amounts of deeply tanned European glamour and a buffet with chilled shrimp on ice, and thatโ€™s basically Club Med. ๐ŸŒด These photos are all from an incredible Tumblr photo bog by urdarntootin, who used to be a G.O.
